Barcelona won with a two-goal advantage, but they should’ve gotten more goals. With Ansu Fati, Lionel Messi, Ousmane Dembélé and Antoine Griezmann all missing the target, Barça scored twice and ensured victory against Juve. They also had a bit of a scare with Alvaro Morata scoring three times. VAR deemed the Spanish forward offside every single time though. Barcelona can be proud of their astonishing win.

After beating Juve away, Barcelona have now gotten the hardest fixture of the group away. It’s worth noting that this is the first time the Culés have beaten the Old Lady away from home. Ronald Koeman’s side is now in pole position to win the group and get an easier opponent in the next round. Now, Barcelona will travel to the Basque region to face Alaves. They have to erase the atrocious run of three games without a win in La Liga.
