Annoying news for Chelsea as N’Golo Kante update confirms another hamstring injury for star in worryingly recurring issue

According to French publication L’Equipe, N’Golo Kante will return to Chelsea on Friday after suffering a hamstring injury whilst away on international duty for France.

The 29-year-old played the entire 90 minutes of Les Blues’ disappointing 1-1 draw against Ukraine on Wednesday, but will now miss the World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

L’Equipe report via a statement published by the French Football Federation (FFF) that Kante felt ‘pain’ in the hamstrings on his left leg at the end of the game.

It’s added that medical examinations undergone by the midfielder revealed a ‘small lesion’, leaving Kane to return to West London tomorrow.

Kante only missed four games with a hamstring blow in January of this year, this blow signals the continuation of a worryingly recurring issue for the world-class defensive midfielder.

Arsenal ace speaks out on possible summer transfer after a lack of playing time

Arsenal do have plenty of attacking options, but it still feels like there could be a major overhaul in that area in the next year or two.

Aubameyang is the undisputed starter when everything is going well but he’s had some discipline and form issues, while he’s also getting into his final prime years so he’ll need to be moved on.

Alexandre Lacazette isn’t far behind so a decision will need to be made on him soon, Folarin Balogun could still leave in the summer as his future is unclear and Gabriel Martinelli is always either injured or stuck to the bench.

It’s also easy to forget about Eddie Nketiah who hasn’t really been seen in recent weeks, and a report from Goal has looked at his situation.

Juventus hoping to take advantage of ‘complicated’ Pogba situation at United

Another day, another Paul Pogba news report.

Whilst the Frenchman is obviously one of the most talented midfielders in the world, his relationship with his club’s supporters had always been an awkward one.

The 28-year-old has recently been the author of several victories for Manchester United – including last week’s Europa League win over Milan.

Nonetheless, the Red Devils’ fans fell out of love with him due to some of his antics, whilst the comments of his agent Mino Raiola never helped.

Therefore, a return to Juventus – where he still well-appreciated by the management and the fans alike – has always been on the cards.

According to Todofichajes, the Bianconeri still insist on signing their former player, and the Premier League club could be finally willing to cooperate.

Del Piero weighs in with his analysis after Juventus loss to Benevento

Alessandro Del Piero has slammed Juventus’ players for lacking concentration after their 1-0 loss to Benevento.

They have just crashed out of the Champions at the hands of FC Porto and were hoping to win their league games to help keep their fans happy.

But a mistake by Arthur and several missed chances ensured Benevento earned four points from two league games against them this season.

Del Piero says the result was bad and it was down to a lack of concentration from the players.

He says there seem to be so many wrong things going on at the club and said Arthur’s mistake wasn’t the first one because it happened in the Champions League as well.

He adds that it worries him that they cannot Read the rest

“What the hell did Sarri do to be sacked?” Some Juventus fans slam Pirlo

Juventus’ 1-0 loss to Benevento today seems to be the last straw for their fans and they have now turned on Andrea Pirlo.

The former midfielder was a surprising managerial appointment in the summer after the Bianconeri sacked Maurizio Sarri.

Some fans had hoped that he would turn out to become their Pep Guardiola or Zinedine Zidane, but his first campaign has been a frustrating one for them.

They have dropped points against teams they should beat and were humbled out of the Champions League by FC Porto.

Benevento has just been promoted to Serie A and Juventus always makes a meal out of newly-promoted teams.

With that in mind, their fans expected them to beat Pippo Inzaghi’s team at the Allianz Stadium today.

But they fumbled and allowed the visitors to take all the points home in their bid to survive relegation.
