Agreement reached – Exciting winger will sign for Man United on Monday

Man United are starting to do some late business in the transfer window, but it’s probably not the signings that the fans will be looking for.

Edinson Cavani is the big story and he’s expected to fly in to complete things tomorrow, but it turns out that he will not be the only Uruguayan forward to sign for Man United in the next few days.

Facundo Pellistri has been spoken about for a while but it was never clear how serious those links were, especially when he was managed by Diego Forlan so it just looked like a lazy rumour.

Houssem Aouar to Juventus rumours explained

Juventus is one of the teams that have been linked with a move for Lyon midfielder, Houssem Aouar this summer.

The Frenchman seems to be on his way out of the French side, with Arsenal now considered his most likely destination.

Juve reportedly called Lyon about the 22-year-old, according to RMC via CalcioMercato.

However, Calciomercato is reporting that while Juve likes the midfielder and he is one of their transfer targets, they never opened real negotiations to sign him.

It adds that when both clubs spoke, it was mainly about the outgoing Danielle Rugani.

The midfielder might be closing in on a move to Arsenal, but he was eager to join Juventus when the Bianconeri were put forward as a possible destination.

Manchester City was another team whom he wanted to join as well, but the former Premier League champions have also not pursued their interest in him.

Tottenham willing to sell centre-back despite Foyth switch

With only a few days left of the transfer window, Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham have finally been making waves.

On Friday, the North London outfit announced that they had signed a striker for the first time in an age, with Carlos Vinicius joining from Benfica.

Defender, Juan Foyth, is also in advanced talks with Villarreal in order to make the switch to the La Liga outfit, according to AS cited by Football.london.

Given the Foyth news, it’s perhaps somewhat surprising then that Mourinho is poised to allow another defender to leave the club.

Cameron Carter-Vickers would now appear to be surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane, and the centre-back has no shortage of takers.

Pavel Nedved gives his response to Juventus Champions League draw

Pavel Nedved has revealed that Juventus Champions League clash with Barcelona will be a “fascinating encounter” after both teams were drawn in the same group.

The Bianconeri will face Lionel Messi’s Barcelona as well as Dynamo Kyiv and Ferencvaros in this season’s Champions League group stages after they were all grouped together.

The game will see two of the world’s best players Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo go head to head in at least two group games.

It is a draw that excites most football fans around the world, and Nedved isn’t an exception.

Full Carabao Cup Quarter Final Draw: Arsenal get Man City as their reward for Anfield triumph

The draw for the Carabao Cup Quarter Finals has been made, and there’ll be a meeting for old friends at the Emirates Stadium.

After dispatching Liverpool at Anfield, Arsenal’s reward is a home tie against Manchester City, pitching Mikel Arteta against his former club and boss, Pep Guardiola.

The Gunners, have already beaten the Citizens with Arteta at the helm, and with home advantage this time, the north Londoners might fancy their chances once again.

Juve handed tough CL draw but certainly not the worst

Juventus have been drawn against Barcelona for the group stages of the Champions League, but they will be thankful not be in the group of death.

The toughest group looks set to be Group H, with Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, RB Leipzig and Istanbul Basaksehir.

The next most open group look to be Group A or B, with European champions Bayern set to take on Atletico Madrid, RB Salzburg and Lokomotiv Moscow, while Inter Milan will have to get the better of Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk and Borussia Monchengladbach.

All eyes will be on Group G for different reasons. Lionel Messi looks likely to leave Barcelona next summer following his attempt to quit the club earlier in the current window, and his side will come up against Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus during what looks to be his last campaign with the Spanish giants.

Juventus boost as key Napoli player will miss upcoming match

Juventus has been handed a major boost ahead of their next league game against Napoli as Lorenzo Insigne is set to miss the game.
