'Unreal talent'- Man United fans celebrate first January transfer window arrival
Manchester United have officially announced the signing of Amad Diallo from Atalanta and fans couldn’t contain their excitement.
The young winger was originally purchased in the summer but couldn’t complete a move just yet due to multiple bits of paperwork and so he couldn’t complete his transfer until this January transfer window.
Diallo arrives with a host of supporters keen on seeing him in action and watching him develop over the next few years.
Some fans are getting a little too carried away and feel he’ll make an instant impact but the majority are happy to be patient with him.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted Diallo will need time but he is expected to jump right into first-team training once he’s in the country.
7-1-21 is officially Amad Diallo Day & should be declared a public holiday in the UK. Welcome my boy, superstar, red devil!

We have to be patient with Amad Diallo as a fanbase. We already know he’s an unreal talent but he’s only 18 and will need a bit of time to adapt and settle in. Lets lower our expectations for him for the sake of his development

Solskjaer originally wanted Borussia Dortmund star, Jadon Sancho, to fill in the gap on the right-wing but ended up with two youngsters in Diallo and Facundo Pellistri.
The latter is yet to make his debut while the former, as aforementioned only arrived now, halfway through the season.
The hope is Diallo can settle in quickly on the right-wing so that it’s no longer an area of weakness in the United squad.
Fans also wish for more signings to be made this window but that may be unlikely given the current climate.
