Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with myself and James from @gunnerblog.
In this episode we pore over the 1-0 defeat at home to Burnley, our fourth successive loss at home. Team selection is a major talking point as the same old faces gave us the same old rubbish, and just when things looked like they might be a bit better, the rank stupidity of Granit Xhaka derailed the little momentum we had built. We chat about the red card, wonder why Arsenal players are behaving in such strange ways, and obviously there’s a lot of discussion about Mikel Arteta and his position during this current run. We also touch on the wider issues of governance and the running of the club which have led us to this point, and what we might do in January, before questions from listeners about which young players we’d like to see in the team, any positives we can find at the moment, the Bellerin/William combo on the right, stories about dressing room unrest and lots more.

Remember, you can send us questions via which we’ll try and get to each week. Send them to either @arseblog or @Gunnerblog (or both) using the hashtag #arsecastextra. Best to send them Monday morning so they get noticed more easily.
