Crusader Kings 3 Trailer & Gameplay Video Focus on War, Intrigue, & Murder Aplenty

Paradox Interactive released a new trailer and a gameplay video of its upcoming grand strategy game (with charming roleplay elements) Crusader Kings 3.

This time the video focuses on a very important aspect of the game, which is war. In the Crusader Kings series, you can’t just declare war willy-nilly, but there are some specific rules to it.

On top of that, another extensive gameplay video showcases plenty more intrigue and murder in medieval Spain.

You can watch both below.

Crusader Kings3 releases on September 1, 2020, exclusively for PC.

If you’re not familiar with the game, you can enjoy my own hands-on preview as I tell the tale of how I fought, murdered, deceived, and seduced my way into becoming the King of Lombardy starting from the position of a modest count.  You can also read my interview with with Product Manager Max Weltz

BMW End Audi’s Record DTM Run

In a race that was all decided by pitstop strategy due to the much warmer track temperatures than yesterday, the BMW drivers Lucas Auer and Timo Glock were the ones who came out on top.

Throughout the race, René Rast & Nico Müller battled each other and were constantly swapping positions with Rast taking the lead in lap two after making full use of DTMs Drag Reduction System. Talking of battles, Glock and Marco Wittmann were another pair of drivers jostling for positions throughout.

Due to there being no tyre warmers allowed in DTM, tyre management and pit strategy is a major part of the races. Rast, Green, Auer and Glock all pitted early for new rubber. Once all of the drivers had made their pitstops the duo of Auer and Glock had moved up to second and third and it did not … Read the rest

Former F1 champion believes “it’s going to take Ferrari a lot of time” to get back to the top

For Scuderia Ferrari it’s not yet the season they had hoped for. The Maranello-based race team may already have two podium finishes with Charles Leclerc, but still the Italians are behind McLaren and Racing Point in fifth place in the constructors’ championship. Jacques Villeneuve expects Ferrari to continue to compete with these teams for the time being.

Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel don’t have to think about victories for the time being. “Ferrari has to start all over again”, says Villeneuve, who says that this is actually two years back in time. “It’s making it very difficult and it’s going to take them a lot of time”.

Ferrari makes the wrong choice
At Sky Sports, Villeneuve also indicates that in his view it is not wise for so many Italians to work at the most important positions within Scuderia Ferrari. “They want to make it a real Italian team, but I don’t think it’s necessary in Formula 1.” According to the single world … Read the rest

How Did Felix & Co. Handle Not Having Fans?

#NextGenATP Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime finished off his 6-4, 6-1 victory on Saturday afternoon in the first round of the Western & Southern Open when his opponent, big-hitting Nikoloz Basilashvili, smothered a forehand return into the net.

There was no loud eruption of cheers from the Court 17 crowd at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. There was no crowd at all. Auger-Aliassime typically throws the ball he has in his pocket to a fan, but not this time.

“It was weird… I actually threw a ball at my coach,” said Auger-Aliassime, who was the first player to advance to the second round.

Auger-Aliassime briefly looked around as he normally would, seemingly ready to wave to the crowd. He then changed course and gave the on-court camera a quick thumb’s up and a fist pump before walking to the corner of the court to retrieve his towel.

“I was … Read the rest
