Adler Group and Sauber Motorsport continue their partnership

Sauber Motorsport, which manages and operates the Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN entry in the Formula One world championship, will be extending its partnership with the Adler Group for a third season running.

Having first joined forces in 2019, the two companies will continue their journey together, working together to extend the range of activities in which co-operation is possible. The work of Adler Group, which produces an extensive range of components for the automotive, aerospace and rail transport industries, resonates with that of the wider Sauber Group and its Engineering and Aerodynamics arms, with many synergies between the companies to be explored as part of the partnership.

Adler Group branding will be visible, as in previous years, on the team’s cars, driven by Kimi Räikkönen and Antonio Giovinazzi, as well on all team properties.

Gordon Murray Automotive has unveiled its T.50s Niki Lauda track-focused supercar for the first time. Developed in parallel with the T.50, the most driver-centric supercar ever built, the T.50s Niki Lauda has been conceived, designed and engineered to offer the ultimate on-track driving experience.

Like the T.50, the T.50s Niki Lauda has been designed and engineered without compromise, but with an even more extreme specification. It weighs just 852kg and will be powered by a substantially redesigned version of the T.50’s Cosworth-engineered 3.9-litre V12, producing 725bhp, revving to 12,100rpm and going through a newly-designed Xtrac six-speed paddle-shift gearbox. Advanced aerodynamics, aided by a 400mm rear-mounted fan, will produce up to 1500kg of downforce for optimum track performance.

Pietro Fittipaldi confirmed as official reserve driver with Haas F1 Team

Pietro Fittipaldi will continue to serve as Haas F1 Team’s official test and reserve for the 2021 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. Fittipaldi, who made his first two Formula 1 starts last December at the Sakhir Grand Prix and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – subbing for the injured Romain Grosjean, will again support the team trackside throughout 2021 extending his relationship with the American squad into a third season.

Recently, the British team presented its McLaren MCL35M car for the 2021 season. The name of the car remained the same. The letter M was added to symbolize the transition to Mercedes powerplants. Basically, MCL35M is an evolution of last year’s car with improvements in terms of powerplant and aerodynamics. The colour of the livery remained the same, there were only a few differences due to the arrival of new sponsors. Changes occurred not only in the car but also in the composition of the drivers.
