The GB3 Championship reaches half-distance at Snetterton this weekend (25/26 June), with intriguing fights up and down the order in both the Drivers’ and Teams’ Championships.

Verstappen was looking well-placed for a comfortable victory over Sainz at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve when a Safety Car was called on Lap 49 of 70 after Yuki Tsunoda hit the Turn 2 barriers after exiting the pits.

Nick Leitz enters NASCAR national series in Nashville with Reaume

Nick Leitz‘s rise through the regional levels of stock car racing have brought him to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, where he seeks to make his début at Nashville Superspeedway on Friday. The effort will come with Reaume Brothers Racing, who announced the signing on Tuesday.

The Leitz family has a decorated history of racing in their native Virginia. For three generations prior to Leitz, the family competed at Langley Raceway in disciplines like oval track and drag racing. Leitz himself got into motorsport by karting at the circuit before breaking into legends cars and late models.

Robin Larsson Wins Big at Lydden Hill at Season Opener of NRX

Robin Larsson completed the perfect weekend after winning the action-packed final after the season-opening event at Lydden Hill.

Larsson took home the gold after running a clean and safe race away from the carnage of lap 1 in the final. His teammate, Andreas Bakkerud, scored a nice second-place finish behind him to lock in RX Cartel’s first 1-2 finish of the season gaining vital points for the team championship.

Further back Niclas Gronholm rounded out the podium finishing third after showing up to the event with no testing and having never driven an electric vehicle before. Gronholm proved his skills as he sat in for Kevin Eriksson who sustained a foot injury taking him out of competition.
