It’s safe to say Manchester United legend Patrice Evra is impressed with Mason Greenwood following the brilliant win vs West Ham.
It was a tale of two halves as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men were remarkably poor vs the Hammers in the first half, heading into the break 1-0 down.
The legendary Norwegian made two substitutions at half-time and that appeared to inspire United to a well-earned comeback win.
Greenwood played his role in the crucial victory, grabbing the goal that gave Solskjaer’s side the lead, scoring quickly after Paul Pogba’s brilliant effort to turn the game on its head.
Evra made a comparison that many Red Devils’ supporters made, comparing the teenage sensation to Robin van Persie.

Evra would go on to say Greenwood is the club’s best finisher which is a remarkable compliment given the talent in the squad.
For the former full-back to say that as well is even more impressive given the type of strikers he played with in the past.
United got the three points the hard way and so long as they have Greenwood and the other remarkable attackers at the club, they can never truly be ruled out.
The lack of clean-sheets of late is a concern but the firepower on show is certainly encouraging when all things are considered.
