Nelson Semedo shares a farewell message to Barça
Nelson Semedo’s departure has been on the table for a long time, and today, the player made it official that he is leaving the club. The Portuguese full-back will be joining Wolverhampton, of which the transfer will be made official by the clubs very soon. Semedo, in the mean time, shared a message to Culés via his personal Instagram account:
“Thank you so much, Barcelona for giving me the opportunity to live the dream of wearing this shirt, to play in Camp Nou, to learn and enjoy from the best in the world. Thank you for making me grow as a player and as a person. It was 3 wonderful years I will never forget. Thank you to my colleagues, staff, fans, and all the people who helped me until this day. Wishing you the best luck in the world. Eternally grateful. Visca Barça!”

Semedo featured in a total of 124 games for Barça, scoring 2 goals and making 11 assists. The Catalan club is now expected to focus on arrivals, with players like Eric Garcia and Sergino Dest on the table — the latter one possibly becoming Semedo’s direct replacement in the right-back.
