Solskjaer gives uncomfortable vague answer over Pogba's future

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been busy talking about Paul Pogba’s future once more, providing the latest update on what might be going on behind the scenes.

The talented Frenchman always seems to be in the news one way or the other and his future was brought up despite the team crushing Leeds United 6-2 without him.

There’s no guarantee Pogba will play in United’s next match vs Everton in the Carabao Cup and yet Solskjaer was asked to discuss him.

The former Juventus man infuriated fans when his agent came out and claimed he wants to leave this January on the eve of the club’s crucial clash with RB Leipzig.

The Red Devils would end up losing that match and crashing out of the Champions League and Pogba has since insisted no one should listen to the noise in the media.

According to ESPN, Solskjaer said: “The more we win trophies the more players will want to play for us. Paul has been here for a while and wants to win more trophies. He’s got a good attitude to training and playing football.

“He’s ambitious he wants to have success. Like most of the others that are in the squad. We’re not all the same. I would say this squad has impressed me with their attitude.

“It’s down to us to win trophies and then let’s see who will be part of the team going forward.”

There’s always uncertainty surrounding Pogba and even after Solskjaer’s comments above, there’s no confidence amongst the Manchester United fans.

The former academy graduate probably wants to see how this season goes for the club trophy wise before deciding to put pen to paper over a new contract.

It’s believed negotiations were meant to start with Pogba but his agent Mino Raiola has denied ever meeting with the club.
